Carol Vorderman Interview Feeling OK had the opportunity to ask Carol Vorderman some questions and here's what she said...

How did you become interested in weight loss?
I had put on a lot of weight after having my first child, finally lost it through exercise and fell pregnant again. The weight didn't go away.

What made you choose to promote a Detox Diet as opposed to any other?
I had seen it work for friends. I tried it and the weight stayed off permanently. I don't count calories, I don't weigh myself and I don't go to the gym.

Have you tried other diets? If so, what were the results?
Lots of diets over the years but they all resulted in weight obsession and no permanent difference.

What health benefits have you obtained since losing weight?
I feel much better, my skin is better and I sleep better.

Why do you think people and the media are so obsessed with looking slim?
Press and television are visual media. The image presented becomes very important, but I think too important at times, particularly in magazines and advertising.
